1. Data we collect

AIVoiceSeparator collects as little data as possible to operate:

• Uploaded audio files or pasted links — used only for vocal/instrumental separation and automatically deleted from the server within 24 hours, or within 7 days for jobs you create while signed in (so you can re-download them from your account).
• IP address — used for rate limiting and to enforce the one-time free trial for visitors who aren't signed in. The trial record (your IP address and a use counter) is kept in _daily_quota.json with no expiry, so the trial can't be repeated. Account quota counters are kept per account: the Free counter (3 songs, one-time) has no expiry, so the free allowance can't be repeated; the Pro counter (6/day) covers the current day only.
• Server logs — request metadata (path, HTTP status, file size) for debugging. We do not log audio file content.
• Firebase Auth (when signed in) — your Google email and uid, used to run your account: your one-time free quota (3 songs), Pro status, credit balance and your list of recent jobs. Stored in our dedicated Firestore project aivoiceseparator and alongside your jobs on our server. Never shared.
• Payments — Pro memberships are billed by Patreon and credit purchases by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we keep only your credit balance, purchase records and Patreon link status against your account.

2. What we don't do with your audio

• Never keep originals or results beyond 24 hours for visitors who aren't signed in, or beyond 7 days for signed-in and Developer API jobs.
• Never upload your audio to third-party clouds — the GPU is in Thailand.
• Never use your audio to train any AI model.
• Never share one user's results with another user (access is gated by opaque job_id).

3. Cookies and Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (pages viewed, device type, approximate region). Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization and sets a first-party analytics cookie; Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. We do not use advertising trackers, and we never send your audio, pasted links, file names, email, or account tokens to any analytics service.

4. Data deletion

Anonymous jobs are auto-deleted from disk within 24 hours. Jobs created while signed in (including Developer API jobs) are kept for 7 days so you can re-download them, then deleted. A background cleanup thread runs every 60 minutes. If you want a file deleted immediately, email [email protected] with the job ID.

5. Security

All traffic is encrypted end-to-end via Cloudflare HTTPS. Temporary files live on a private machine that is not directly reachable from the public internet (only via the Cloudflare Tunnel).
