How to remove vocals from a TikTok sound — 4 steps
- Copy the TikTok link. Tap the Share button on the video, then Copy Link. The URL will look like
https://www.tiktok.com/@user/video/1234567890. - Open AIVoiceSeparator and switch to the Paste YouTube / SoundCloud / TikTok link tab.

What you can do with separated TikTok audio
🎤 Make a cover or duet
Use the instrumental as your backing track. Record your own vocal cover of any trending TikTok sound without buying the karaoke version.
🔁 Remix a viral sound
Pull the vocal hook out of a popular TikTok and build your own beat under it for a remix that catches the algorithm wave.
🎬 Use clean audio in videos
Get the original instrumental of a TikTok song for use in a YouTube video, vlog, or Instagram reel (subject to the original rights holder's licensing).
📝 Transcribe lyrics
Enable the lyrics toggle and get SRT/LRC subtitle files generated by Whisper running on the isolated vocal stem.
🎧 Karaoke practice
Sing along to the trending sound at home, with the original vocal muted and only the music playing.
🎚️ Sound design
Use the cleaner vocal-only track to design new effects, layer harmonies, or build sample packs.
Tips for the cleanest TikTok extraction
- Pick the original upload when possible — re-uploaded sounds often have a layered creator-voice on top, which the AI will treat as additional vocals.
- Avoid heavily filtered audio. Robot-voice filters, deep autotune, or reverb-soaked TikToks will produce messier stems. Try a cleaner version of the same sound.
- Use a full-song clip when available. The longer the sample, the more material the model has to work with — 15-second snippets still work, but stem quality improves with length.
- Pick FLAC or WAV for further editing in your DAW. MP3 is fine for casual listening but introduces compression artifacts you don't want when sampling.
Frequently asked questions
Does this TikTok vocal remover require an account?
No. Paste the link and go. Patreon Pro is optional and just bumps the daily limit to 20 separations.
Can I separate vocals from a private TikTok?
No — the audio downloader (yt-dlp) needs the video to be publicly viewable. Privately-shared or unlisted TikToks will fail.
What's the maximum length?
15 minutes per source. Short TikTok clips (15–60 seconds) process the fastest, often in 2–3 minutes.
Why does my extracted vocal sound a bit thin?
If the TikTok was already heavily compressed, autotuned, or filtered, the vocal stem will inherit those artifacts. The AI doesn't restore detail that was removed at the source.
Is it legal to use a TikTok song's instrumental?
Personal use (singing along, practice) is generally fine. Publishing your own video using the extracted instrumental still falls under the original artist's licensing — check before posting to YouTube or Spotify.
Where are the files processed?
On a private GPU in Thailand. Inputs and outputs are deleted after 24 hours; nothing is shared, sold, or used for AI training.
